Burrillville, RI
Project Description
Prior to development, the landowner had received approval from the town through an amicable settlement process to install the solar on this particular site. ISM Solar® navigated a utility service territory siting issue where they effectively reached a settlement agreement with National Grid Pascoag Utility district, the municipal utility in Burrillville. The array at this location is being developed on previously clear land and, to preserve the rural character of the town, will not be visible from the road. The site will continue to maintain its function as a farm stand while the new solar arrays will produce enough electricity to power approximately 550 homes.
